Smoke Monkey BBQ

Just had some of the best crawfish here. They are huge and the flavor is 10/10. Just the right amount of heat! been here in the past for other food, and it’s always been good, but I’ll be back for more crawfish soon!

First time visit. Got the brisket, jalapeno sausage and chicken. Brisket had a great smoke ring, cook perfectly and juicy! Jalapeno sausage was also great. Just the right amount of seasoning. Mac n cheese and pinto beans were also very good. Chicken was the weak part. In Texas I have always order a half bird for the wife. Here I got a chicken breast that was very dry. Small serving. Highlight was the BBQ sauce. Next time I get by there I will definitely buy some for home.

Great food. It's definitely worth every penny, maybe more. I had the ring of fire potato, 5 stars. I was greeted with a smile by everyone who worked there, and I arrived shortly after they opened. I drove over 70 miles one way just to try Smoke Monkey, and in no way did it disappoint me. Will definitely go again in the near future.

From beginning to end this was a fantastic meal, atmosphere, and venue. The management was very helpful and answered all my questions; especially since I am a non-meat eater at a meat heavy restaurant. Walking in, not only are there plenty of pic ops, but it also smells great! There is a 2nd floor that offers more privacy or a great place for a party. There is also an outdoor event center where bands come to entertain! You will undoubtedly notice the open bars of food. They have plenty of sides that do not have meat, so a non-meat eater will not starve here, that is for sure. They also have just a salad bar if you are vegan. Which is a total plus! I was with a party of four, everyone else ate meat, and loved it! I had mac n cheese, beans, mashed potatoes, mixed peppers & squash, and corn...along with a salad! Yes, my eyes were much bigger than my stomach! Everything was fresh and phenomenal. There is a piano in the eatery hall, and I did confirm they offer FREE piano lessons on Thursdays at 7pm! Lastly, the staff! Every single person I met, from the management to the waitstaff and in between were SUPER NICE! It was refreshing to be able to talk to people and not feel as though you were putting them out with your questions. They were all super helpful with identifying what foods used meat and what ones did not so I could avoid a tummy issue later! Now as far as the bill...are you ready?! For my husband and I to eat it was less than 35 - for both of us! All In All; I would totally recommend this place for singles, couples, friends, and families to go enjoy food and music! Searched around for a Texas BBQ place that wasn't in a strip mall and found this gem. Everything about this establishment was great. The food was excellent, service was very friendly and the live music was an added bonus. I highly recommend the ribs, brisket and sausage. And omg the green beans were to die for.

Stopped in for a pulled pork sandwich at Smoke Monkey Barbecue and I’m glad I did. The place is spacious with a big outdoor patio and plenty of seating—perfect for enjoying good food and a cold beer. The sandwich was absolutely delicious, full of smoky flavor and tender meat. Beer was ice cold, just the way it should be. This spot is a great hangout for motorcyclists—lots of parking space and a laid-back atmosphere. Whether you're riding through or just looking for a solid BBQ spot to kick back, this place hits the mark. I’ll definitely be back.

I love watching music here. Ive seen Dani Reed play here, and many others. The drinks are cold, the food is great, and the staff is amazing!
